  There are quite a few bug fixes and additions to this release but there are several things of note with this release.

  Access Rights

  This is a somewhat significant shift in the way RokDownloads works. Access right have been revamped on how they are used. There are now different types of access rights for File versus Folders.

  A Folders access right will let you set if a Folder is viewable at a certain access level. If a Folder is viewable at the current access level, all files within it will be viewable. This does not mean the file is downloadable, just viewing that the file is there and all of the file information you wish to publish.

  A Files access rights will let you set if a file is downloadable at a certain access level.

  An option for URL redirection has been put in the menus to let you redirect a user to a page of your choice if they do not have rights to download a file.

  Module and Plugin Integration

  First of all thanks go out to Ivo Apostolov for the original modules and plugins for RokDownloads.

  Three modules have been added to the RokDownloads component.
  -Lastest Downloads
  -Most Downloaded
  -Recent Updates
  

  These are available in the Module Manager and are disabled by default.

  A search plugin for RokDownloads is also installed with the component install. It will allow searching of your file and folder information. It is disabled by default, but may be enabled in the Plugin Manager.

  Upgrading

  IMPORTANT! Backup your jos_rokdownloads table before you uninstall the previous version. Uninstalling an alpha version drops the table and all its data. The table structure is the same, so you can copy the table back in place after you install the new version.
  Steps:
  1. Backup the jos_rokdownloads table
  2. Uninstall the RokDownloads Component
  3. Install the new version of RokDownloads.
  4. Import your copy of the jos_rokdownloads table overwriting the current table
  
  This will keep all of your data.
